Terms of Service

1. Booking & Payments

Deposit: To secure a date and time for a session or event, a non-refundable deposit of 75% of the total fee is required upfront. No date is reserved until this deposit is received.

Balance: The remaining balance must be paid in full before or immediately upon completion of the shoot, unless a specific payment plan has been agreed upon in writing.

2. Cancellation & Logistics

Client Cancellation: The 75% deposit is strictly not refundable if the client cancels or changes the engagement.

Photographer Cancellation: In the unlikely event that AliNafe Photography fails to appear at the place and time specified without informing the client at least 24 hours in advance, the deposit shall be refunded to the client in full.

Late Arrival: Please arrive on time. Showing up late for an appointment will result in less shooting time and attracts a penalty fee.

3. Artistic Style & Deliverables

Artistic Discretion: The Client acknowledges that they are familiar with the Photographer’s portfolio and style. The Photographer shall be granted artistic discretion regarding the poses, locations, and post-production editing.

RAW Files: We DO NOT share RAW (unprocessed) files. All deliverables are high-resolution, edited JPEG selections.

Delivery Method: Proof photographs and final edits will be delivered digitally via Pixieset, Google Drive, WhatsApp (sent as Documents), or any other convenient method that ensures high-quality transfer without compression.

Timeline: Standard delivery time is 1-2 days after the shoot, though large events (like weddings) may require additional time.

4. Copyright & Usage Rights

Copyright: AliNafe Photography retains the copyright to all images created.

Usage: The Client is granted unlimited but non-exclusive rights to use, print, and reproduce the photographs for personal use (e.g., social media, home printing). The Client may not sell the images or use them for commercial advertising without a separate commercial release.

Model Release: The Client grants AliNafe Photography the right to use images for promotional purposes, including but not limited to the website, social media, and brochures.

5. Client Cooperation

The Client shall assist and cooperate with the Photographer in obtaining the desired photographs. This includes specifying persons/scenes to be photographed and taking time to pose.

AliNafe Photography shall not be responsible for photographs not taken as a result of the Client's failure to provide reasonable assistance, cooperation, or if key individuals are late or unavailable.

6. Limitation of Liability

In the unlikely event of a total photographic failure, injury, or sickness preventing coverage, or theft/loss of digital files, liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid. The Photographer takes the utmost care with respect to exposure, transportation, and processing the photographs, but cannot be held responsible for Acts of God or technical errors.
